Kelly Murphy Music releases new single ‘Like a Parasite’.

Kelly Murphy is a musician in the Seattle, WA area with years of stage, touring, writing and studio experience with bands such as Kiss the Gunner’s Daughter and Temperedcast. Writing more music than his other projects could handle, Kelly is partnering with a number of singers around the world to collaborate on heavy and melodic music, which is quickly turning into his main focus.

‘Like a Parasite’ is a track featuring Josh Paulino from Brazil on vocals who has partnered with Kelly Murphy Music on a number of songs that will all be featured on their 3rd album together ‘Like a Parasite’, released in January of 2026. This song is about recognizing the toxic traits of a person and pulling away to protect yourself, capturing the anger, exhaustion and clarity that come from being drained by someone who hides behind false intentions.
