In the song, Zachary appears to be singing directly to the listener and appealing to their own thoughts and memories on such an emotive subject… Zachary recorded this song in his home studio in October 2025, and later got in touch with Drummer Nate Barnes and Bassist John Thomasson to get them involved in the project.

Nate Barnes is a member of the critically acclaimed rock band Rose Hill Drive, and John Thomasson currently plays with Little Big Town, and has played on several platinum albums and singles, as well as Grammy and Emmy winning songs. Zachary also worked with Derrick Lin, an excellent Hong-Kong based Mix and Master engineer. Sweetheart is Zachary’s eleventh single to date, and his eighteenth song to be released. Sweetheart is released on January 30th 2026, and Zachary invites fans and newcomers to his music to be ready for a powerful, compelling release! About the Artist: Zachary is a 28-year-old artist based in Guildford, UK. Since the spring of 2021, Zachary has created between 200 and 250 demo tracks on a recording kit gifted to him by a relative. He creates music in different genres, using acoustic and electric guitars, and also keyboards. His music has been featured by names such as Rolling Stone En Español, TJPL News, 1111CR3W, The Big Takeover, M.E.I. News, and many others. An interview with Zachary was also published in 2025 in SPIN Magazine. His single I’ll Get Through charted at No. 41 and No. 93 on the indie radio charts in 2024. Some of his songs were accepted into the catalogue of sync companies such as YTINIFNI Pictures (a prestigious Film and TV company) and Brazilian Film and TV Company Relva Music. In 2025, Zachary was featured by some prominent promoters on Instagram, and saw his work receiving praise from some prestigious individuals in the world of music, TV and media. His favourite artists include Neil Young, Bob Dylan, David Bowie and Leonard Cohen. Zachary also writes under his real name, Daniel Macintyre, and publishes some of his work on the website Scribbles (scribblings.uk) and also Medium.
